I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
